Bertland Cameron

Bertland Cameron is a retired Jamaican sprinter and pioneer of the 400 meters, having won the event at the very first World Championships in Athletics in 1983. He represented Jamaica at three consecutive Olympic Games and carried the Jamaican flag at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Today he serves as a coach in Jamaica and remains one of the most respected figures in Caribbean athletics.
